Who Must Complete the e-Arrival Card?
- All foreign nationals holding a valid Indian visa (eVisa or paper visa)
- OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) cardholders – mandatory since 4 October 2025
- Foreign nationals arriving for business, tourism, medical treatment, or conferences
- Children and minors (completed by parent or guardian)

Who Is Exempt?
Indian citizens (Indian passports) do not need the e-Arrival Card. Citizens of Nepal and Bhutan (visa-free entry to India) are generally exempt – verify with current official guidance. Pakistani nationals should check with the Indian High Commission.
